Video Contest
This Producer Meeting has been re-scheduled for September 1st at 7pm. We'll be talking about the 'Advantage Orion Video Contest' and want our ONTV Producers to show Lake Orion how it's done! RSVP to Molly at 248-693-3377. We'll provide refreshments!
Alliance for Community Media Conference
ONTV Board Members Ralph Painter & Pat Belanger with Outreach Coordinator, Molly Perry attended the Alliance for Community
M edia conference in Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh Community Television (PCTV) showed us around their studios and held an informal discussion about how they operate. During the conference, we have been able to network with other access centers and have been through various workshops to learn more options that will benefit ONTV! Stay tuned for all the exciting things going on at ONTV! While here in Pittsburgh, the ACM Michigan Chapter met for breakfast and to discuss what is happening in Michigan with public access. It was a great opportunity to hear from those access centers that are in our area and the great things they are working on!
ONTV Summer Camp
From L
to R
Ian, Emily, Hannah, Alexis, Jake, Sam & Chase
ONTV hosted six local middle school students in June for our annual Video Camp. During their week with us, the students learned all about video production and even produced their own program; ‘Video Camp News’. Our newest Producers created a segment about Children’s Park in downtown Lake Orion, took a tour of the video department at the Palace of Auburn Hills and held a dance competition in the ONTV Studio.
Stay tuned to ONTV for ‘Video Camp News’ and watch for our youngest producers around town!
ONTV Mission Statement

Lake Orion Review on ONTV
Orion Neighborhood Television and the Lake Orion Review have revisited an old partnership to bring your local news to the public on TV, not just on paper! ‘Lake Orion Review on ONTV’ airs on Monday, Friday & Saturday at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. directly following ’Lake Orion Living’ on Comcast channel 10. Viewers can also watch the program online as the program streams online at www.orionONTV.org. Back episodes are also available online under the ‘Lake Orion Review on ONTV’ tab online.
Streaming Online!
ONTV programs are now streaming online 24/7. A full lineup is available under the public link. Viewers can see all the original programming that airs on public access channel 10. Under the Government link, viewers can see meetings live as they happen and also when they playback on Thursdays. Meetings are now also indexed, which offers viewers the opportunity to scroll right to the point in the meeting they wish to view. On the Education channel, Lake Orion School Board meetings are also available, with indexing. Just click on the channel you would like to watch and programs will come up on your screen.
